Headaches, bad trips, dizziness, all of these effects weren’t there at the first time i tried consuming cannabis with a vaporizer.
So how am I gonna tell you about my first time?
Cannabis and Hashish usage is very common in Israel, both for medical patients and for those who get it by themselves in the (not so) free market. I’ve been using cannabis since I was 16 years old, at the beginning it was just for fun, laughing and getting high with friends, as we were young and curious.
After a few trips to Amsterdam I became more of an expert and tried to taste as many different brands as possible on my vacations in this “dream city”. Every experience there is different. You know what you’re getting and you know what effects may occur to you.
Joint, bongs and edibles are the most common ways to consume cannabis, both in Israel and the rest of the world.
Mixing the weed with tobacco made the whole effect much stronger and it kinda felt like a slap to the face, a feeling that something made the influence much stronger, and that’s compared to smoking it without any tobacco.
Back then I used to smoke cigarettes so mixing tobacco in my joints was a necessity.
Alot of methods, tastes and colors, but how does it all come down to the important part, me moving on to vaping?
So I walked into a coffee shop and saw people filling up baloons with vapor, that’s right, vapor from cannabis.
I told myself, “why do you need this? There’s even no smoke” and other lame excuses.
After an instruction from the coffee-shop worker, I filled up their huge vaporizer and started vaping. Quickly, I began to realize that what I was experiencing till that day was completely different and from now on my most of my cannabis consumption needs to be through vaping, but the big problem is that that device is expensive, you can’t get it inside the country, and the weed here is worth as much as gold.
I rolled up a joint, mixed with tobacco, clearly, and smoked it. Very quickly I got a different high from the one I got while vaping, it felt more harsh, made me tired and I couldn’t continue my day as I planned.
I returned from Amsterdam with a lot of insights and looked for a vaporizer in Israel, unfortunately the scene was not that wide back then and what I did find was too expensive. So I ordered one from the net, unfotunatley it got stuck in the costumes department and I never got it until today. I kept looking more and more and finally found a store that sold vaporizes in fair prices and got myself the Atmos Jump. The transition to vaping felt weird, yes, it was a device that substituted the feeling of taking a drag from a joint, but the effect was very different and felt much smoother, cleaner and lasted longer. Of course, you’ll need a good brand of cannabis, but there is no better, tastier way of consuming it, than vaping.
